About Gondal Palaces
Gondal, a town about 40 km south of Rajkot, has several palaces of its former rulers. The Naulakha Palace, with carved stone balconies and a chandelier-lit durbar (court) hall, houses a museum. The Riverside and Orchard palaces now run as heritage hotels, and the royal garage holds the family's vintage and classic cars, most still in working order.
