About Sabarmati Riverfront
The Sabarmati Riverfront is a public waterfront along both banks of the Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad, developed by a company set up by the city's municipal corporation. A two-level promenade by the water is used for walking, jogging and cycling, with parks and ghats along it. The kite-inspired Atal Bridge, a footbridge about 300 metres long, opened across the river in 2022.
