About Aji Dam
Aji Dam holds back the Aji River on the edge of Rajkot, and its lake is one of the city's main sources of drinking water. Narmada water is also piped into it through the state's SAUNI scheme. Beside the dam is Ram Van, a 47-acre urban forest made by the city corporation, with statues showing scenes from Lord Rama's life.
