About Aina Mahal & Prag Mahal
Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal are palaces of Kutch's former rulers, side by side in the walled Darbargadh compound of old Bhuj. Aina Mahal, built in the mid-1700s by Ram Singh Malam, who had lived in Europe, has mirrored interiors and Delft-style tiles. Prag Mahal, built between 1865 and 1879 in a Gothic style, has a Durbar Hall and a clock tower.
